Skills of the Week and the Month: This is a list given to us originally by Region 5. We are thinking of editing and revising this list and implementing this revised list at RHHS so that we are attacking student skill development in a comprehensive and uniform fashion.
Student Skills by Grade Level - Developed by the Social Studies Dept: The social studies department worked collaboratively to identify key reading and writing skill goals we felt students should be achieve at each grade level. Reading and Writing Rubrics to Assess Student Skill Development at each Grade: In addition to identifying key skill-based goals for students at each grade level, parallel skill-based rubrics were created to be used for grading student work at each grade level. Note that the following rubrics are Word files so that they can be downloaded and edited by teachers for use as needed:
